BUILDING OUR COMMON FUTURE WITH INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY - NATIONAL CONFERENCE

The Department of Intellectual Property Rights, under the able guidance of  Prof. Dr. Asha Sundaram, Principal, Saveetha School of Law and Prof. Dr. Anju Mohan, Head of The Department of Intellectual Property Rights conducted “The National Conference on IP and SDGs: Building our common future with Innovation and  Creativity” at Saveetha school of Law on 24th April 2024. The conference was organized by Ms. Vinu Sree. G and Ms. Sri Nikila. M, Assistant Professors, Saveetha School of Law.

The Conference was conducted in hybrid mode. The keynote address was delivered by our esteemed Chief Guest Prof. Dr. A. David Ambrose, Formerly Head, Department of Legal Studies, University of Madras. Followed by which, Dr. M. Sunil Gladson, Director BA LL.B (Hons), TNDALU and Dr. P. Brinda, Director BBA LLB (Hons), TNDALU took ahead the plenary session as the key resource persons.

In the technical session, nearly 85 teams from different universities and law schools across India including Saveetha School of Law, presented their research papers and shared their valuable insights.

Tmt. C. Uma Maheshwari, Hon’ble District Judge, City civil court, graced the valedictory session as the Chief guest. Two papers were acknowledged as best papers and five best presenters were honored with awards.
