INTER COLLEGE CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION A PART OF JUS LUDIS ARTEM

The department of Criminal law under the able guidance of Prof.Dr.Asha Sundaram, principal of saveetha school of law and Mrs.Niranjana,Head of the Department of Criminal Law conducted an Inter college crime scene investigation on 22.08.2024.The crime scene investigation was organized by Ms.U.Umamaheswari and Mrs.A.S.Kowshikaa, Assistant Professors of Saveetha school of law with the help of student coordinators.

A total of 15 teams from across Chennai participated in the event, which was structured into three distinct components. First, participants observed the crime scene. Next, they watched a video that narrated the story behind the crime. Following this, the participants proceeded to an interrogation room to investigate the suspects involved. Finally, all teams were tasked with framing a charge sheet based on their findings.

The team of two students from Vel Tech School of Law were adjudged as winners and students from School of Excellence in Law were adjudged as the runners up of the competition.
