Plantation of saplings @ Pappanchathiram Middle School in Chembarambakkam

On 30 July 2024, 45 students from Saveetha School of Law, accompanied by two faculty members Mrs.Rosy Kumar and Ms.Tharini Rajasingam, visited Pappanchathiram Middle School in Chembarambakkam for plantation of saplings as a part of UBA programme under the guidance of Mrs. Vidhyasri SP, HOD, UBA Coordinator. The event organised with a hands-on activity where the Saveetha School of Law students and faculties planted 50 saplings around the school campus. This act of tree planting was symbolic of commitment towards environmental conservation and served as a practical demonstration of how every individual can contribute to a greener planet. The visit highlighted the crucial role of legal education in promoting sustainability and protecting our natural resources. The event aimed to raise awareness among the middle school students about the importance of environmental protection and the legal frameworks that support it. During the session, the law students engaged the young audience with informative presentations, discussions, and interactive activities designed to raise awareness on environmental protection.
