Webinar was on the topic “Civil Procedure Code”

The webinar was on the topic “Civil Procedure Code”. We have conducted the webinar for three sessions on 19 February 2020 between 4-6pm. The first speaker was Mrs GA GIRIJA VENKATARAMANAN, she is Advocate in Madras High court and also the Member of high court Lok adalat and Member of Human welfare association and vigilance. And she has 22 years experience in law and which she covered was Injunction under CPC. She gave a clear explanation about the injunction like where it can be filed, how it can be filed, who can file and on what basis it can be filed and etc. The second speaker was Mr NAME : K.LAKSHMANASAMY, he is practicing advocate in Namakkal Court and also member of Namakkal Bar Association. He has 25 years of experience in both Criminal and Civil. The topic which he covered was about Plaint, written statement, amendment petition, CPC section 151 and 152. And the Third speaker was Mr G.Surya narayanan and he is Practising advocate hight court and Supreme Court with 29 years experience and the topic which he covered was CPC and commercial court act. The Faculty co-ordinator Ms Revathy mam provided her valuable support to us. The students who attended the webinar was around 22-25 students and session was very informative and we gained some knowledge about the civil procedures in the court.
