She is currently working as Assistant Professor of law in Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal. The Speaker started with a quote as ”Everyone Wants A Good Teacher But Not Everyone Wants To Be A Teacher” and divided the webinar into three Major categories as the first half dealt with an general interactive session extracting from the participants about their ambition after completing the Bachelor's Degree in law. Thus, she divided the job preference of students into three as (i) Corporate firms, (ii) Litigation and (iii) Judiciary. Thereafter, she dealt with the reasons as to why academics is not an favourable career option among young aspirants under law; main reasons being, that these issues were never counselled in the under graduation course, risks of low pay in academics and lack of patience. She concluded the webinar by stating few cruxes on the vision of academics as a professional career where it gives a sense of academic freedom, autonomy with never ending quality of learning, discovering and self satisfaction. The webinar commenced by providing an insight into social media and most commonly reported crimes that occur on it. The most reported incidents involve people making threats, bullying, harassing, and stalking others online. The speaker explained the difference between legitimate and illegitimate transactions using social media with ample illustrations. She also highlighted the importance of privacy settings and protecting one's information in these platforms as social media is also a deep pool of personal data. Onl the whole session was really impactful and insightful. The session was attended by over 50 students who had come prepared on this subject. On 20.12.2020, a webinar was organised on the topic ‘Laws on Child Protection in the UK’. The resource person was Ms. Indira, who is a legal enforcement officer in England, with an experienced of more than 13 years in children and family legal services. Ms. Indira has also written a novel on child protection which was published in the UK Parliament. Firstly, she discussed in brief about the various laws relating to child protection in the UK.
